Prepare now for MAJOR changes to the endovascular codes for 2013. More interventional procedures have been bundled into single codes. All of the head and neck S&I codes have been deleted. All therapeutic coronary intervention codes have been deleted. Thrombolytic infusion codes have been changed which will require you to create statistical codes to track events that do not result in a billable CPT code. Make sure your charging is correct and your charge sheet is updated properly. These changes WILL affect your current pricing structure.
